Generating a New Version of a Key for CP5

Skip this section if you are not using CP5 HSM.

  1. List all the previous versions of the DKE_Key:

›_ Console

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-list --name=<keyname>

Example

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-list --name=DKE_Key

List the version of a DKE_Key

  1. Generate a new version of DKE_key with below command:

›_ Console

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-new --name=<keyname>

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-new --name=DKE_Key

List the version of a DKE_Key

  1. List the Updated Versions of the Key:

›_ Console

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-list --name=<keyname>

Example

C:\Program Files\Utimaco\DKE>dkemanager.bat version-list --name=DKE_Key

List the version of a DKE_Key

  1. Reinitialize and re-authorize the new version of the key for CP5 by following the steps in Initialize and Authorize Keys for CP5.

For CP5: if you have generated a new version of the key, you need to initialize and authorize this new version again by following the steps in Initialize and Authorize Keys for CP5.
