Accessing Serial Console via PuTTY

Use the following steps to set up PuTTY and access serial console.

  1. Navigate to device manager and figure out the COM port that you’ll be using.

PuTTY Configuration

  1. Run PuTTY.

  2. Switch the Connection Type to Serial.

  3. Edit the Serial Line to match the COM port you want to use.

Serial line

  1. Make sure all of the settings are correct.

  2. Click Open to start the session.
