Procedures

To integrate the SafeGuard CryptoServer with Active Directory Rights Management Services, complete the following steps:

  1. Set up the AD RMS Infrastructure.

  2. Uninstall the AD RMS.

  3. Install the SafeGuard CryptoServer hardware.

  4. Install the SafeGuard CryptoServer software.

  5. Configure Utimaco CSP.

  6. Install AD RMS and IIS.

    1. Add ADRMSADMIN to Domain Admins group.

    2. Install and configure the Server Roles AD RMS and IIS.

    3. Create a self-signed certificate with IIS and complete the installation.

  7. Verify the AD RMS functionality.
