Creating an Organization VDC

An Organization Virtual Data Center (Org VDC) is required to deploy virtual machines.

1. Navigate to Resources → Cloud Resources → Organizations.

2. Click New to Create a new organization.

3. Provide the required organization details and complete the wizard.

4. Navigate to Resources → Cloud Resources → Organizations VDCs.

5. Click New to create a new Organization VDC.

6. In the creation wizard:

   • Select the previously created Provider VDC.

   • Configure compute allocation as required.

7. In the Storage Policies section, select a storage policy with VM Encryption capability.

8. Complete the remaining steps using default settings where applicable.

9. Verify that the Organization VDC status is Normal and the state is Enabled.
