Open the command prompt and run the certmgr.msc command

Right-click Personal node. Select All Tasks and select Request New Certificate, Click Next for next two windows

If you are using Smartcard Authentication, the prompt will go on the PIN Pad device to insert Smartcard and enter the pin. Then press OK button on the PIN Pad.

Select the check box for New template for key archival and click Enroll

The Enrollment Wizard displays. Verify the enrollment is successful and click Finish
