Issuing a Test Certificate from OpenXPKI Web UI

  1. Navigate your browser to http://<openxpki_server_ip>:8080.

  2. Log in as authenticated user.

  1. Go to Request, select Request new certificate and select any certificate profile.

  1. Click Continue.

  2. Click on Generate Key on PKI.

  1. Select Key Algorithm and Key length then click on Continue.

  1. Enter the Hostname and Application Name of your machine and click on Continue tab.

  1. Provide the Email address and other information and click on Continue tab.

  1. Enter your Key Password.

  2. Request awaits for the approval.

  1. Log out and re-login as user who has permission to approve and issue certificate.

  2. Select Home and click on My Tasks, there should be a table with one request pending.

  3. Select your Request by clicking the line.

  1. After few seconds, your first certificate is issued.

  1. Log out and log in with your requestor username. Open My Certificates. Now you can download the issued certificate.
