Prepare the Private Network

The HYOK integration requires a private network connection between OCI and the external KMS.

1. Log in to the OCI Console.

2. In the OCI Console, go to Networking → Virtual Cloud Networks.

3. Select the VCN to be used for the Private Endpoint.

4. Verify that the VCN has the required IPv4 CIDR configured.

5. From the VCN, go to Subnets.

6. Click Create Subnet.

7. Enter the subnet Name and Compartment.

8. Define the subnet CIDR within the VCN CIDR range.

9. Leave the remaining values at their default settings unless additional network configuration is required.

10. Click Create Subnet.
